Governor-General of New Zealand Dame Patsy Reddy
Dame Patsy Reddy represents the Queen of New Zealand and this Māori language week has agreed to represent, also, the Māori language as one of its ambassadors. Dame Patsy puts the advice of the Māori Language Commission into practice: learn a little, use a little; learn more, use more. As our head of state Dame Patsy’s use of the language illustrates how It can bring us all together as part of our shared Aotearoatanga.
